Hello everyone,
Today I started to talk to my dad about politics and government and oil. We started talking about how the government can take your property with probable cause (to all of you who just found this out, yes it is true it is in the 5th amendment. Google it.). SO, I said yes, it is true but they have to pay you a decent amount of money for your property so you can get another place to live. My dad said that the government doesn't NEED to pay you to take your property. So I did some searching. I found that the government does not have to pay you to take your property IF and ONLY IF, you have been incriminated for a crime that was committed on a property such as running a meth lab. The government then has the right to take your property. Also, if property is left abandoned. I heard a story where a man was paid for more than enough for his property and I was told stories where the guy was way under paid. I don't know how the sums of money are determined, but I know that they will get paid. If anyone else has some government questions or beliefs or something interesting please comment so I can hear it. This interests me a lot.

Hi! I haven't blogged in a while so I thought I tell you what I have been up to. I have been sewing! This may sound really lame, but it's actually super fun! So I made a pillow with two other girls. We took a pattern that came out of a kit and cut out fabric in that shape then sewed it mostly shut, stuffed it full of fluffy stuff, and then hand sewed it completely shut. It was really cute and super comfortable. I used it in my second hour and it was really nice, well until the teacher told me to wake up and get to work... Anyways! I enjoyed it so much so I am now making a "Super Simple" skirt. I hope to wear it after I am finished sewing! Fingers crossed this goes well!
That's it!
Bye,
Kayla

Hey!
So, last I said in my last blog I am going to write about John Galliano. Most of you probably do not know who he is, because honestly, I didn't know who he was until I had to do a research project on him. John Galliano is a fashion designer. According to Biography.com, he has created many famous collections.

These are my favorite designs of his. They are all really girly and elegant. My favorite is the top right one because if I could afford these dresses, that's what I would wear since it's the most modern. Anyways! As I was saying these are all elegant formal wear. The reason for this is because when John was young his mother always dressed him up in fancy clothing even when going to school or the market. He got made fun of all the time but somehow these clothes made him love fashion. He went to a fashion school and later got his major start when he was picked to design an entire collection out of one bolt of cloth!! I thought this was amazing!
Here is a picture of him, doesn't he just look like a fashion designer? Anyways! I haven't seen many other designers, but I love this one's story and design so make sure you check him out! That's about all I have to say, bye!

Hi!I am Kayla. I am writing this blog because I am supposed to show the world my vision; well that is what my fashion marketing teacher says… and I have no problem with doing that! I am very passionate, you know, about music and rowing and politics and complaining about other people’s driving, but fashion? Not so much. So I finally decided I will write about styles in fashion whether it is the designers who design them or just the styles I see going around school, magazines, or the red carpet (I think that’s where knew designs are shown). I hope to get a few people interested in what I have to say and possibly educate some people and myself. I am trying not to make this whole blog so opinionated where it does not mean anything. For anyone planning on reading this, I am planning on writing on the famous and current designer, John Galliano, and also writing on the new 'hipster' styles to be the most up-to-date with the latest trends. Well, that is about all I have to say. Thanks for reading!
